Name: Jerry
Role: Team Leader
Experience: Four years in the bike biz and still absolutely loving it! I’ve sold thousands of bikes across Australia and New Zealand—and honestly, each one feels personal. I really enjoy getting to know my customers before matching them with the perfect ride. Before this, I spent over 10 years in the corporate world... then swapped the desk job for bikes, and haven’t looked back since. It’s been a wild ride—and such a rewarding one!
Expertise: E-Bike, Kids Bike, and Commuter/ Hybrid Bike
What do you love about bikes: I’m all about mental health. I got into the bike game during Covid and saw how much bikes helped people get through that time. Riding isn’t just good for your body—it’s a total game-changer for your mind too. I’m the same! If I’m in a grump, I just jump on my bike, cruise around the harbour, and boom—thanks to those endorphins, I’m feeling way better.
Current Bikes: Marin DSX 2 Gravel
Favourite Ride: Around Auckland CBD to St. Helliers Beach. I’m new in Auckland so definitely need to explore more 🙂

Name: Juan R
Role: Sales Consultant
Experience: I have worked in customer service for over 10 years, most of my focus was in the Hospitality industry and 2 years in the retail industry. I have known my way around bikes since I was 13 years old, fixing my own when needed. Being my main way of commuting, having some knowledge can be a lifesaver in many ways.
Expertise: Road bikes, commuter bikes, e-bike expert
What do you love about bikes: Bike goes fast, Juan likes fast 🙂. Speed is not everything though, using bikes as a commuting method not only helped my pocket and my health (mental and physical) it became one of my hobbies. Going out to ride long distances with my friends and chilling with a couple of cold beers after is a core memory for me.

What do you love about bikes: There’s a rare kind of freedom that finds me each time I ride.

Name: James
Role: Mechanic
Experience: I’ve learned bike mechanics hands-on, living with one of Whistler’s top mechanics, regularly helping maintain and upgrade top-end mountain bikes built for world-class terrain. I’ve spent most of my time riding and keeping bikes dialled in Whistler, with some UK exploration along the way. My background also includes working with elite coaches as an action sports photographer and volunteering to restore discarded bikes for community use.
Expertise: Customising the most boujee mountain bikes you can think of, and taking care of the ol’ reliable trusty commuter.
What do you love about bikes: I’m all about sessioning fast flow trails, chasing that Top-Gun feeling, but I also get a real kick out of cracking tough tech lines. But it’s more than just the ride - it’s the culture. I love the energy of Crankworx, the shared stoke, and seeing riders push what’s possible. At its core, mountain biking gives me a way to escape into the mountains, reset, and stay grounded. Meanwhile, my background in design engineering has me hooked on unique linkage designs and the constant pursuit of innovation in the industry.

Favourite Ride: Slaybertooth Kitten and Whistler Bike Park
