Built from BMX roots where broken parts and flat tyres are just part of the price, Kink brings core heritage to riders pushing every limit. Expect park-ready bikes and parts built tough, designed for repeated landings, hop-ups and powered sessions.
Kink complete bikes and components deliver tech born from pros but priced for riders learning tricks, honing skills or riding every week.
The Kink Story
Kink BMX was founded in 1994 by Zack Phillips, then only sixteen, after he kept breaking parts while riding with mates. He began selling home made parts from his backpack, then grew the brand into an international company driven by riders designing, testing and riding the products.
That history means every frame, bar or crank is shaped by actual BMX action. Today riders benefit because Kink frames use chromoly or Hi-Ten steel where appropriate, parts are heat-treated for strength and designs are tuned for street, park and dirt performance.

Why Ride Kink?
- Built by riders for riders. Founding rooted in seeing broken parts and doing something about it, Kink remains owned and run by BMX riders. Equipment sees real-ride feedback in every weld, bend and bolt.
- Durable materials. Use of chromoly steel where strength is critical, Hi-Ten steel in places that absorb impact, heat treated parts, integrated dropouts and gusseted joints reduce stress failures.
- Sealed and reliable components. Bikes like the Kink Launch use sealed headsets and bottom brackets to reduce maintenance when you ride in wet or dirty conditions.
- Tested geometry for control and flair. Short chainstays, responsive head angles, slim seat posts and stout bars let you flick tails, stall trims and pump transitions without losing stability.
Popular Kink Ranges Explained
Kink Launch
The Kink Launch is a gateway into completing BMX riding without sacrificing durability. Hi-Ten steel frame, chromoly fork, sealed headset and bottom bracket give value and robustness. Geometry that balances responsiveness with stability makes it suitable for riders learning on decks, park rails or street gaps. Colours range across Translucent Black, Mirror Red and Earth Bronze.
Kink Curb
The Kink Curb specifies the same core BMX freestyle class as Launch, but tuned more for street and park style. Tough tyres, reliable brakes and a parts list that delivers strength where impacts hit hardest make the Curb good for grinding ledges or sending manny off rails.
Kink Gap
Kink Gap pushes into refined performance. Perfect for riders who want tighter response in aerials and spoolable wheelies. Stronger cranks, stiffer frames and tested geometry deliver control when landing combos or launching transitions.
Kink Kicker
Kink Kicker steps into size options and adjustability, ideal for younger riders or those who want a lighter setup without losing toughness. Bars, frames and parts refer to core BMX pedigree to ensure parts won’t let you down as you progress.
Kink Carve
Kink Carve is tailored for smaller riders or riders who prefer compact setups. With 16-inch wheels and conservatively sized top tubes, it delivers control and safety while still featuring solid, bomb-proof parts and style straight from the wider BMX line.
Kink Roaster
Kink Roaster is for tiny riders just starting in BMX. The 12-inch Roaster is built to take abuse while teaching control. Heavy duty tyres, sturdy steel frame, simple reliable parts make learning balance and basic tricks safer and more durable.
