The Big Nine Limited is an XC Race or Endurance focused build, the LITE XC focused 6066 triple butted aluminium frame with its long reach, steep seat angle and slack head angle provide next generation XC geometry allowing a symmetry between aggressive agility and calm stability, perfect for today's more demanding courses. Boost axle standard and tapered head tube deliver stiffness and steering precision while the aero profiled down tube, leaf spring profiled chain and seat stays offer optimal comfort. Integrated down tube and chainstay protectors provide extra frame protection. Merida's patented ËœSmart Entry' system means cables, housings and brake hoses are clamped under tension to prevent rattling when the trails and roads get rough, as well as offering up a clean aesthetic.
