The Velectrix Hurricane 24" is an exciting new addition to the VelectriX E-Bike range. Made specifically with little big riders in mind. The Hurricane 24 has the look feel and features of Velectrix adult E-Bikes adapted to a smaller 24 wheel version. Equipped with 80mm travel front suspension forks and Kenda Small Block 24 tyres the Velectrix Hurricane 24 will roll over anything in its way and will stop on a dime too thanks to the front & rear hydraulic disc brakes. The Hurricane 24 comes with a 250-watt rear hub motor and a fully integrated 8.7ah (313 watt-hours) lithium-ion battery providing powerful assistance up to 30-kilometer distance and a quick 3-hour recharge time. The Hurricane 24 is a perfect first E-Bike capable of keeping up with mum and dad and designed to take on any adventure on and off-road as well as making the daily trip to school fun and enjoyable.

VelectriX – Product Warranty
Warranty Conditions
This warranty is provided by VelectriX Pty Ltd. The warranty period is not renewed or extended as a result of a warranty repair or replacement. The sales receipt for the product must be provided as a proof of purchase when a warranty claim is made. The warranty is not transferable and is only offered to the original purchaser of the product. The warranty only applies to products purchased through an authorised VelectriX reseller/dealer. Any approved warranty work must be completed by an authorised VelectriX reseller/dealer. To the extent that any conditions or warranty implied by law is excludable, such a condition or warranty is excluded.
Frame Warranty
VelectriX bicycle frames are warranted to be free from manufacture defects in materials and/or workmanship for 5 years, from date of original purchase. VelectriX folding bicycle frames are warranted to be free from manufacture defects in materials and/or workmanship for 3 years, from date of original purchase. The frames are warranted for a maximum combined (weight of rider & any carried goods) carrying capacity of 110kgs
Non-Electrical Component Warranty
The following non-electrical components are warranted to be free from manufacture defects in materials and/or workmanship for a 1 year period from the date of original purchase: fork, stem, handlebar, headset, seat post, saddle, brake levers, brake callipers, brake rotors, bottom bracket, crank set, pedals, rims, spokes, wheel hub, freewheel, cassette, derailleur, gear shifter, kickstand, rack, mudguards.
Electrical Component Warranty
The following electrical components are warranted to be free from manufacture defects in materials and/or workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of original purchase:
Motor
Battery
Motor controller
The following electrical components are warranted to be free from manufacture defects in materials and/or workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of original purchase:
Battery charger
Wiring looms
Light fittings
Display
PAS sensor & cable
Gear shift sensor & cable
The battery warranty will exclude damage from:
Over charging or power surges
The use of an improper, non-approved VelectriX charger
Improper maintenance
Any other misuse, abnormal wear, physical damage or water damage
Age related reduction in the capacity of the battery is normal, and unavoidable, and as such does not constitute a fault. If the battery has a capacity of at least 60% within 2 years of purchase it will be considered acceptable. VelectriX reserves the right for the battery to be returned for testing to establish the capacity before any repair or replacement is authorised
Component Exclusions
The following components are deemed to be considered wear and tear and are NOT covered under this warranty:
Tyres and inner tubes/valves
Headlights and tail lights
Handlebar grips
Magnetic PAS sensor disc
Brakes pads and cables
Drivetrain components including chainrings, gear cassettes, chain, gear cables and oils and lubricants
Usage Exclusions
The following acts are not covered under warranty:
Damage caused by acts of god
Damage caused by improper use or force majeure
Damage which results from improper or insufficient care
Repairs, maintenance, alterations, modifications or the replacement of parts by persons other than trained mechanics
Any commercial use
Accidental damage, neglect, abuse, misuse, repairs resulting from the use of second hand parts
Damage caused from competitive use, stunt riding or exceeding the bikes carrying capacity
