Description

Watt Wheels hugely popular City Trike now offers an XT model which allows for greater off-road capabilities for rail trails, gravel and dirt roads. The XT model comes with a mid-drive motor capable of around 100km on a charge with plenty of torque. The added Suntour NCX suspension seatpost ensures optimal comfort, while the wide tyres help improve stability and make for a much smoother ride on un-even surfaces. The Nexus internal gear hub ensures gear changing is smooth and can be done in a stationary position. Use it as a normal trike without the electric boost, switch the assistance on when you need an extra helping hand, or use the thumb throttle to drive the trike without any need to pedal. The battery is situated under the rear basket, so that it can be left in while charging, or slide out. There is also a second mount so that two batteries to be installed at once if you plan to do some larger km's or just like using the throttle.
