Description

The Scout XT takes the versatile Scout model and ups the ante with a mid-drive motor, larger battery and internally hubbed gears. This electric bike appeals to so many riders, from commuters to farmers and holidaymakers. Designed to easily fold up for convenient transportation and with fat 20" x 3" tyres these bikes glide over most surfaces with ease. Equipped with a Dapu 250w/48v mid drive motor, Tektro hydraulic brakes, low maintenance 7-speed Shimano Nexus internal drivetrain, and large LCD display. Cruising with a left-hand thumb throttle assist up to 40km/hr, the Scout XT can travel up to a whopping 120km on a single charge. The LS low step through frame offers easier mounting and dismounting. A one-size small/medium frame design fits most riders. Connections are Marine rated waterproof for big adventures and the power can be restricted for those wanting a bit less. The comfortable gel seat, ergonomic hand grips, and RST suspension fork ensure an enjoyable ride wherever you roam.
