Description

The Marin Pine Mountain 1 is the purist’s steel hardtail mountain bike. The carefully tuned trail geometry is a mix between agility for trail riding, and all-day comfort for bikepacking, plus all the bikepacking mounts you’ll ever need, including Marin’s much loved Bedroll handlebar exclusive to the Pine Mountain series. The Pine Mountain 1 is the first bike in the line-up and uses a butted and formed Series 2 4130 CrMo frame with Boost 141mm dropouts, full fender and rack mounts, as well as brazed-in cargo attachment points throughout the front triangle for carrying all of the water and gear one needs for a proper adventure. All that, combined with a 120mm RockShox Recon RL fork, grippy and dependable Vee Tire co. Flow Snap 2.6” tire and Shimano 11 speed shifting, gives the Pine Mountain a comfortable ride with huge traction and ability to roll up and over large obstacles, while still being light enough to pedal and fast enough to rip singletrack.
