Made for racing but also with ambitious trail riding in mind, the Big Nine 5000 is a premium carbon hardtail offering an inspiring ride whatever you put in front of it. The CF3 frame with nano matrix carbon technology and racing geometry is ideal on XC and marathon racetracks, while the Flex Stay technology helps to absorb trail shatter. Merida’s enormous experience manufacturing hardtail mountain bikes translates into a symbiosis between modern frame technology, attention to detail and craftsmanship. Premium features like the Anti-Wrinkle System results in a lighter, stiffer and stronger frame. Internally routed cables with smart entry cable housings are di2 ready and clamped for a rattle free ride. With a RockShox Reba 100mm fork with remote lockout, Shimano XT/SLX 12-speed drivetrain and hydraulic brakes, fast rolling tubeless ready 29er wheels, and a dropper post ready frame. The Big Nine 5000 is equally at home during fast and flowy trail sessions as it is on XC races tracks.
