The Bayview Trail 24 is built to get kids hooked on riding with a durable frame and quality components that will last for years of neighbourhood and bike park service. The Series 1 6061 Aluminum frame is tough and lightweight just like the adult’s bikes while the SR Suntour XCT Jr front fork is custom built for kid’s mountain bikes and offers 50mm of travel perfect for off road adventures. Power CX7 Mechanical Disc brakes provide smooth, controlled stopping in all conditions with minimal maintenance, while the short reach brake levers ensure optimal brake control at all times. The 1x7 Speed Shimano Altus drivetrain offers up a modern gear ratio, paired with a Shimano Revo grip-shifter, allowing for smooth shifting performance whilst still maintaining a firm grip on the bars, so they can concentrate on the ride ahead. Rolling on Vee Crown Gem 24”x 2.25” Tyres for their excellent versatility in mixed terrain, offering an excellent balance of speed, traction and control.
