The Xelius is a light carbon road bike that is both comfortable and ultra-fast. It is at ease in all circumstances, whether climbing, descending, or sprinting on the flat. Light, responsive and with premium aerodynamic performance, the Xelius SL embodies the evolution of the classic competition bike. The frame of the Xelius SL provides sleek lines and internal cable routing, but the real magic is the aerodynamics, using Lapierre’s masterful aero elements also seen on their other pro tour level race bikes, the frames tube shapes have been tweaked for optimal aerodynamics, resulting in a beautiful rig that handles the roughest roads like a breeze while also maintaining speed and responsive handling. The 5.0 model is spec’d with a Shimano 105 R7000 drivetrain which draws on the latest advances to offer unrivalled reliability. Shimano’s 105 hydraulic disc bakes deliver progressive braking performance, while the 160mm front rotor provides more power in even the toughest conditions.
