If your riding demands performance components built with passion and tested by decades of trail riding, WTB delivers. Expect brand level craft, durable function and real comfort, because WTB tech started in the mountains and shows up in every tyre, saddle and rim.

Every WTB product gives you benefit from innovations like tubeless systems, custom saddle fit and compounds engineered for grip and strength, all without overcomplicating your ride.

The WTMTB Story

Wilderness Trail Bikes, WTB, was born in Mill Valley, California in 1982, founded by Steve Potts, Charlie Cunningham and Mark Slate. They made components for early mountain bikes because what they needed simply did not exist. Several innovations followed: roller cam brakes, Grease Guard hubs and the first 29 inch tire designed for off road use.

Today WTB makes tyres, saddles, rims, grips and accessories used around the world. That creativity from the early days shows up every time you hit the trails, durability, comfort and performance designed for real riding, not just spec sheets.

Why Ride WTMTB?

  • Proven heritage in component innovation. WTB’s history of designing breakthrough tech, Grease Guard, roller cam brakes, early adoption of 29 inch tyres, means your everyday parts share a legacy forged in real demands.
  • Fit Right saddle system. Simple measurement of your wrist to estimate sit bone width, so you get a saddle that brings comfort instead of numbness on long rides.
  • TriTec compounds and casing options. New tyres use triple rubber compounds and you can choose between Light or Tough casings for a balance between weight, grip and durability.
  • TCS tubeless compatibility. Tubeless tyres and rims work as a system to reduce flats and allow lower tyre pressures, better grip, less thumping.
