Velo Toze: Outsmart the Elements

Velo Toze dares cold rain and wind to keep you off your bike. Their designs lock moisture out and warmth in so riders ride comfortably even when the weather is trying to win.

Born from a desire to leave wet socks and freezing hands behind, Velo Toze delivers real gear that laughs at winter mornings and punches through spring drizzles.

The Velo Toze Story

Velo Toze was founded in 2014 in Sonoma County in northern California by cyclists who were tired of all the so-called waterproof gear failing them in cold, wet conditions. At that time shoe covers were bulky, coverings were ineffective, and on race day or training rides feet still came out soaked.

They developed new materials and minimalist designs focused on waterproof protection, clean seams, and flexible form. Today all that innovation benefits everyday cyclists: lighter gear that keeps rain out, retains core for riding longer without discomfort, and makes layering easier so you spend more time riding, not drying out.

Why Ride Velo Toze?

  • Purpose-built waterproofing: materials like performance neoprene and seal-stitched seams block water and wind so you stay dry in harsh weather.
  • Minimal bulk with maximal protection: their designs use thin, stretchy fabrics and clean cuff systems to keep feel on shifters and pedals while preserving warmth.
  • Innovative fabrics like graphene blends: applied to warmers and sleeves to intensity heat retention, speed up drying, and speed up recovery after rides.
  • Tested by real riders: products are proven in wet, cold conditions and trusted by cyclists who ride year-round, not just on fair weather days.

Popular Velo Toze Ranges Explained

Velo Toze Warmers and Sleeves

The Warmers and Sleeves collection uses graphene-infused, water-repellent yarns blended with nylon and Lycra so arm, knee and leg warmers adapt to your ride. The fabrics stretch where you need flexibility, and reflectivity enhances visibility during early morning or evening rides. Great for layering spring and autumn rides or for those changeable winter days.

Velo Toze Gloves - Winter

Winter gloves from Velo Toze use performance neoprene with sealed seams, extended cuffs, and blind-stitched construction to keep out wind and rain. Temperatures as low as -5 °C in dry weather up to about 15 °C when wet are covered. Design is minimalist so you can still shift, brake and steer without losing grip or feeling in your hands.
