Shop Pirelli

Pirelli brings Formula One racing heritage to your ride, turning motorsport-bred expertise into tyres that roll smoother and faster on tarmac. Expect buttery-smooth rolling resistance paired with serious puncture protection and speed, all tuned down for everyday riders who demand quality without the drama.

The Pirelli Story

Pirelli was founded in Milan in 1872 by engineer Giovanni Battista Pirelli, originally making rubber goods and later developing its first bicycle tyres in the 1890s. That same racing spark pushed Pirelli into motorsport—Formula One, motorcycle racing, rallying—and those high-stakes lessons in grip, materials and durability evolved into the cycling range you see today. Since re-entering the bike tyre field in 2017 with its P Zero range, Pirelli has leaned on over a century of competition and innovation to put motorsport tech into tyres built for real roads, serious distances and weather that doesn’t wait.

Why Ride Pirelli?

  • Motorsport-derived compounds like SmartEVO and SmartNET Silica come straight from racing and offer both low rolling resistance and grip in wet or dry conditions.
  • Reinforced casing technologies such as Armour Tech™, TechWALL+, ProWALL and SpeedCORE use fabric, aramid and bead-to-bead protection to reduce the risk of punctures without making the tyre stiff.
  • Rich racing heritage that shows up in every tyre design—from Formula One to mountain bike circuits—so materials, testing and know-how are top shelf.
  • Choice tailored to your ride —road racing, gravel, urban commuting or mountain trails—no matter your budget you can get tyres that stay fast, comfortable and long-lasting.

Popular Pirelli Ranges Explained

P Zero

The P Zero range is built for road racing and fast riding. It uses high-thread-per-inch casings (for example 120 TPI) and compounds like SmartEVO derived from motorsport to deliver very low rolling resistance, good wet grip and reliable puncture protection through technologies like SpeedCORE.

Cinturato

Cinturato is made for all-road adventure, commuting and gravel. Reinforced with bead-to-bead protection, using SmartNET Silica or SmartEVO GR compounds plus tougher casings like ProWALL or TechWALL+, it handles rough surfaces, mixed terrain and wet weather while still rolling smoothly.

Sportube

Sportube tubes are designed to complement Pirelli’s tyres for reliable performance. They offer dependable air retention, consistent pressure and compatibility with presta valves in standard sizes so you won’t compromise comfort or fit when pairing with Pirelli tyres.

P7

P7 delivers sporty road performance with a heavier duty casing for everyday riding. You benefit from race-level grip and decent rolling speed but gain more durability, making P7 great for those logging kilometres on varied urban or training surfaces.

Angel

Angel tyres are built for urban, hybrid or city style rides. With wider profiles, reflective strips and tough casings, they cope with traffic, wet roads and debris while offering a smoother ride than standard commuting tyres.

Scorpion

Scorpion is Pirelli’s Mountain Bike line made in Italy using FSC-certified natural rubber. The new Cross-Country models (XC RC and XC M) focus on lowering weight and rolling resistance while beefing up sidewall strength and using ProWALL or Lite casings to balance control and speed.
