Shop Park Tool

Park Tool makes tough, workshop-worthy tools that don’t cost a fortune. Built by riders who know what it takes to wrench real bikes, each Park Tool tool brings quality, precision and longevity to your maintenance setup. Explore tools and gear that make it simple to care for your bike properly, whether at home or on the trail.

The Park Tool Story

Founded in 1963 by Howard Hawkins and Art Engstrom in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Park Tool began as a bike shop side-project, solving problems no one else was solving. Their first creation was a bike stand that held the bike off the ground so mechanics could work safely and comfortably. That stand turned into more tools, and tools turned into a full company making hundreds of bicycle-specific tools sold around the world. Their iconic blue tools are now a trademarked colour and a recognised symbol in workshops everywhere.

That history matters every time you turn a wrench. It means Park Tool knows which steels hold up, how handles need to feel, how repeated tension must survive years of use. The same care that built their first stand lives on in every cable cutter, chain checker and valve core remover. You get decades of experience built into each part holding your ride together.

Why Ride Park Tool?

  • Decades of experience make the difference. Since 1963 Park Tool has refined tool designs through years of real bike repair work, so today’s tools are tough, reliable and built for the job.
  • Made for home mechanics and professionals alike. Each tool is designed so you can work cleanly, precisely and confidently whether you're tuning up your first bike or servicing daily riders.
  • Colour-matched blue you can trust. Park Tool’s signature blue is a trademarked colour that represents authenticity—it’s a mark that you have a genuine tool built to strict standards.

Popular Park Tool Ranges Explained

Park Tool Chain Checker

The Park Tool Chain Checker (for example the CC-4.2 drop-in gauge) measures chain stretch accurately by contacting the chain in three places with its laser-cut teeth. It works with single-speed or multi-speed chains up to 13 speeds. Keeping your chain wear in check protects your cassette and chainrings and saves you money in wear-sensitive parts.

Park Tool Cn-10

The Park Tool CN-10 Cable and Housing Cutter is a work shop-grade plier built for clean cuts through shift cables and compressionless shift housing. It has heat treated, cold forged steel handles, precision-ground jaws for consistent cuts, plus a built-in crimper for cable end caps so you get two tools in one.

Park Tool Chain Gang

The Park Tool Chain Gang Cleaning System (model CG-2.4) bundles together the Cyclone chain scrubber, a gear-cleaning brush and a biodegradable degreaser to clean chains, freewheels and chainrings. It works on single-speed and multi-speed bikes and makes maintenance less messy.

Park Tool Master Link

Park Tool Master Link Pliers (such as model MLP-1.2) are made to remove and install master or quick-links cleanly, without damaging outer plates. They suit a wide range of chain widths from 5 to 12 speeds so you don’t need separate pliers for different bikes.

Park Tool Valve Core

The Park Tool VC-1 Valve Core Tool makes installing or removing removable valve cores simple. It works with both Presta and Schrader valves, and features aluminium construction so it resists corrosion and fits comfortably in your tool roll or saddlebag.
