Shop Odyssey

Odyssey has been pushing BMX parts forward since 1985. Inspired by street, park and dirt riders who demand real toughness, they build brakes, wheels, grips and more that survive hard landings, crashes and everyday wear.

Every Odyssey product brings performance born from tricked-out stadiums down to your backyard, without hurting your wallet or your confidence.

The Odyssey Story

Odyssey was founded in Norwalk, California in 1985. It started with just a few freestyle bike parts and grew into a parts company that designs almost every component of freestyle, street, vert, dirt jumping and flatland bikes—everything except the frame itself. G-Sport (or GSPORT) was absorbed decades ago, bringing in strength-focused parts like rims, hubs and hardware as part of the Odyssey family. Gyro rotors, the Hazard Lite rim and the patented Elementary stem are milestones that helped define modern BMX.

Today Odyssey’s long history matters to every rider. Their decades of testing mean their grips last longer, brakes grab more reliably and wheels endure impacts so you can ride more confidently and spend less time replacing parts.

Why Ride Odyssey?

  • Built on over 38 years of BMX innovation so every design—from rims to brake levers—has been tested in parks, during dirt jumps or over rails, and refined for real-world riding. (Founded in 1985)
  • Everyday performance engineered in so affordability doesn’t mean forfeiting grip feel, strength or reliability.
  • Materials and design driven by riders using Chromoly steel, sealed components and purpose-designed clamps so your parts resist bending, rust or sloppiness.
  • Extensive parts range means matching components (brake kits, grips, wheels) are always available so you maintain control, comfort and safety mile after ride.

Popular Odyssey Ranges Explained

Odyssey Broc Raiford

The Odyssey Broc Raiford grips bring signature pro rider style with a ribbed texture that resists slipping even when your hands are sweaty or muddy. Push-on design lets you fit them fast without messing with bar ends.

Odyssey Bluebird

The Odyssey Bluebird chain is a single-speed favourite built tough. Its strong links and classic silver finish suit street, park or low maintenance setups, delivering smooth pedalling and long wear before replacement.

Odyssey Springfield

The Odyssey Springfield brake lever is a budget-friendly upgrade made easy to install. It uses a hinged clamp so you can fit it without removing grips, matching the Springfield U-brake design with reliable stopping power for tricks or daily commuting.

Odyssey Hazard

The Odyssey Hazard wheel range includes rear wheels built with cassette drivers and strong alloy rims. They take street tricks and dirt hits without failing, keeping weight manageable for quick spins and board-slides.

Odyssey Ghost

The Odyssey Ghost brake pads are made for those who use U-brakes, delivering dependable stopping power without squeal. Durable compound means you go through fewer pads and more sessions.
