Back in 1991 Rex and Marilyn Trimnell founded X-Lite UK, producing lightweight forks and components. Rex soon grew frustrated with overly harsh bike cleaners that damaged anodised parts, so in 1994 he developed a bright pink, eco-friendly cleaner that worked hard without harming finishes. That cleaner kick-started Muc-Off.
