Shop Fulcrum Brakes

Fulcrum’s Italian heritage and cutting-edge wheel technologies bring powerful braking performance to your ride. With years of designing for speed, durability and precision, their brakes are engineered to give you confidence whether you’re carving corners or descending steep hills.

These brakes don’t just stop well, they carry over high-end wheel system know-how to parts you use every ride.

The Fulcrum Story

Fulcrum was founded in 2004 in Arcugnano, Italy by three aerospace engineers who channelled their skills into making wheels. Backed by parent company Campagnolo, they focused on materials like aluminium, carbon fibre and innovating technologies to create wheel systems that deliver strength without excess weight. From road racing wins with champions like Tom Boonen and Paolo Bettini, through to off-road performance, Fulcrum built its reputation in elite competition.

Today, the expertise from crafting world-class wheels shapes every product. You get brakes informed by trail-tested durability, road-proven modulation and precision born in racing—all translated into parts built for everyday cyclists.

Why Ride Fulcrum?

  • Italian engineering pedigree comes from aerospace roots and Campagnolo experience, giving you precision-machined parts that feel responsive, durable, well made.
  • Proven through competition means pressure has been applied where it counts—road races, off-road terrain and high stress riding—all features in production design for reliability on your ride.
  • Advanced materials and tension-balanced design use aluminium, carbon fibre, ceramic bearings and dynamic balance systems, so you get strength without unnecessary weight or compromise.
  • Compatibility and versatility designed to work with Shimano, SRAM or Campagnolo systems, tubeless or clincher tyres, disc or rim braking styles, so your choice isn’t locked in.

Fulcrum Brakes

Although Fulcrum is best known for wheels, their brakes bring the same engineering standards. You’ll find caliper, disc and rim brake options designed to offer smooth modulation, consistent performance in wet or dry conditions, and durable materials so braking feels good ride after ride. They’re compatible with major brake mounting standards so swapping them in is straightforward.
