Ride with parts designed by riders, for riders. BSD is built on creativity, grit, and strong engineering. All their Saddles, Seat Posts, and Wheels bring that passion straight into your build, whether you’re ripping street or in the skate park.

The BSD Story

BSD launched in the summer of 1991 when a group of BMX friends began filming their jams and adventures. Their first product appeared in 1998: a thick, custom 44-tooth sprocket, built tough. In 2005 they added the Jersey Barrier hubguard, the first push-on plastic hubguard, which many now take for granted.

This history shapes what BSD offers today. Their parts are engineered for abuse, grounded in real riding, so every saddle, seat post, and wheel is made to hold up under street style, freestyle pressure, and those moments where durability matters most.

Why Ride BSD?

  • Rider-owned innovation comes from over three decades of BMX experience, meaning every part has been tested in real sessions.
  • Trickle-down endurance takes high-end materials like heat-treated rims, aircraft strength aluminium, and tough Kevlar bumpers, made so street riders get premium reliability.
  • Thoughtful design covers details like slam-proof Pivotal systems and well matched hubguards so parts work together, don’t just look good.
  • Wide range, clear focus lets you build up from the essentials or swap rough parts without breaking the bank, while riding with confidence.

Popular BSD Ranges Explained

BSD Saddles & Seat Posts

BSD Saddles & Seat Posts are built for comfort and durability. Their Pivotal seats use one bolt, no rails, making them lighter and stronger at high-stress points. You’ll find Kevlar bumpers over impact zones plus mid, slim, and fat profile options. Posts are forged 6061-T6 aluminium, designed to work seamlessly with Pivotal seats.

BSD Wheels

BSD Wheels bring in wheelsets like the XLT line, combining ultralight double-walled rims with proven hubs such as the Revolution freecoaster or Back Street Pro cassette. Spokes and rim tape are BSD-made, hubguards like the Jersey Barrier are included, and rims stay light without sacrificing strength.
