Box Components at 99 Bikes

If performance, quality and innovation are what light up your ride, Box delivers with passion forged in BMX racing. Proudly built on racing heritage, their parts give solid value and durability to every entry-level or mid-tier rider.

From grips that never slip to cranksets with serious stiffness, Box makes gear that handles the track, trail or street without breaking your bank.

The Box Story

Box was founded in 2012 by BMX and Mountain Bike veteran Toby Henderson after a long racing career spanning two decades. He grew up pushing pedals at world-class events before pouring that experience into designing components engineers could rely on day in, day out. The result is a brand born in competition but built for everyone.

Techniques and insights from the racing world shape how Box makes products—oversized spindles, hollow forged arms, and exacting material choice all come from lessons learned on real tracks. Riders today get parts you can trust because Box still thinks like a racer.

Why Ride Box?

  • Racing-born technology. Designs like Oversized Technology come straight from racing to reduce flex through the crank and bottom bracket so you pedal more efficiently.
  • Material integrity. Hollow forged aluminium arms, cold-forged alloy spindles and quality anodised finishes give strength without excessive weight.
  • Precision feel. Parts like Lock-On grips and brake levers include fine detail finishes and reliable hardware so everything fits and functions smoothly.
  • Accessible performance. Box ranges tiered with names like One, Two, Three and Five mean you choose based on budget without settling—you get tech from high end even in lower tiers.

Popular Box Ranges Explained

Box Two

The Box Two line is designed for riders wanting very strong cranksets and drivetrain parts without the toe-cut price. For example, the Box Two M30-P Crankset delivers large 30 millimetre alloy spindle strength, hollow forged arms and tight material control so your power hits the wheel instead of getting lost flexing gear.

Box One

The Box One range brings premium performance in components like grips and brakes. Box One Lock-On Grips have hexagonal textures over most of the surface for grip, built in thumb ribs for comfort and metal clamps that keep them fixed in place. These touches lift feel and control wherever you ride.
