The Merida Mission J CX is a performance Cyclo Cross Bike for young riders and a versatile alternative to the Road centric Mission J Road. Just like the Adults sized Bikes these are manufactured from 6061 techno formed Racelite Aluminium, they are also painted and lacquered in the same professional way. Internal cable routing offers up a sleek, refined look and provides a rattle free ride. Disc brakes provide optimised braking performance in wet and muddy conditions while integrated mounts for fenders allows customization. This is the Bike for either the junior racer looking for a performance Bike just as capable as its adult counterparts or the adventurous rider looking to tackle some longer distances, either commuting to school or hitting some of the increasingly popular rail trail rides popping up around the country. Approx.* rider height range: 4'6'' 5'4''. Please note this range is a recommendation and should be used as a guide only. To ensure your best fit feel free to pop instor

In September 1972, Ike Tseng (1932–2012) a brilliant engineer and visionary founded MERIDA. While visiting the USA, Ike saw a sign in a bike shop that stated refusal to repair any Taiwanese bikes, due to the unfavourable quality. As a result of this he set out to fulfil his dream of high quality bikes made in Taiwan and formed the MERIDA Industry Company Ltd.

The MERIDA name has three syllables Me-Ri-Da and it is the company’s intention to manufacture beautiful, high quality bikes that enables everyone to reach their destination enjoyably. MERIDA created a world-leading bike factory but Ike still wasn’t satisfied, so in 1988 the MERIDA brand was launched. Ike’s vision is still very much a part of MERIDA, manufacturing all kinds of bikes from children’s bikes to world-class professional road and mountain bikes for the Bahrain- MERIDA team riders. Everybody has a different journey, and everyone can benefit from a MERIDA.
