Product Recall: GT LaBomba Bicycles and Framesets Model Year 2019-23
Affected: GT have identified a safety issue with the GT Model Year 2019-23 LaBomba bicycles and framesets. The bicycle headtube/downtube weld can become damaged and separate from the bicycle frame, posing fall and injury hazards.
If you have purchased one of these bikes please return it to your store of purchase as soon as possible. New frames will be ordered to replace these affected frames.

Affected: Marin Bikes produced in July-September 2020 with square taper bottom brackets.

Defect: Bottom bracket axle can snap.
What to do: Stop riding the bicycle immediately. Follow this link to check your bikes serial number to determine if it is affected: https://www.marinbikes.biz/recall_checks If your bike is affected please contact your local 99 Bikes store for a replacement bottom bracket to be fitted.

Product Recall: Yakima HangOver 4 & HangOver 6.
Affected: Sold between June - Aug 2021.
Specific Models that are affected:
Defect: Potential issue with recent batches of HangOver 4 (4CXXF9VW) and HangOver 6 (E6M8OPEP), where the rivet nut that holds the fork cradle in the top bar could be loose.
What to do: If you have purchased one of these racks over this timeframe one of our team will be in touch to confirm the batch code number of your rack to check if it is affected.
Batch codes on the unit can be found on the tongue near the pivot joint on welded side support (4 digits in the middle) as per the images below.

Replacement bars are being airfreighted from our factory and will be available the second week of September 2021
